Blackmagic Design Fusion 9 Studio For Mac
Hi guys i’m Having an issue where I downloaded fusion studio 9.0.1 on my late 2013 Mac Pro, I bought a studio dongle I tried to open fusion studio for the first time, but every time I try to open it, the page would say loading controls then when it gets to loading the lut gallery it would quit unexpectedly. I tried trouble shooting. These are the things I did.1. Uninstalled then re-installed fusion studio. Did not work
2. Installed fusion studio 9.0. Did not work
3. Check my USB ports in the about section of my Mac. Everything is fine. The port reads the dongle.

4. Downloaded and installed fusion studio 9.0.1 on my wife’s Mac book pro. Plugged in the dongle in the adapter. It works and opens on her computer.Her computer (Mid 2017) Radeon Gpu 580( 4gigs) system memory 16 g CPU i7
My computer : (late 2013 Mac Pro). 6 core intel Xeon 64gigs system memory D500 gpu’s
Both computers are on OS X Sierra 10.12.6 Blackmagic Design Fusion Studio 16.2.4 Build 9
4. Restarted my computer. Did not work.
5. Downloaded it on an external hard drive with same operating system. Did not work.
6. Took all dongles out of the USB ports, then tried to open fusion and it still quit. The page that says usb dongle required did not pop up, it just quit.
7. Re-downloaded fusion (non studio): It works
8. Reset PRAM on my Mac Pro. Did not work
9. Called blackmagic support. Did not work
The studio version of the app just keeps quitting on me
I had fusion non studio version on this Mac and it worked fine. I uninstalled the non studio version before I installed the studio version.
UPDATE: I figured out it’s crashing when trying to load the OFX plugins. When I removed the OFX FOLDER from my library it loaded up right away. How Can I get it to load the OFX plugins. I use them in davinci resolve as well. And they load up with no problems there. For blackmagic a ofxTestLog.test Popped up in the OFX folder ..
UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION..I removed a plugin called LUTGallery.ofx.bundle, which I use in resolve with no problems, but when trying to open fusion that plugin crash fusion. Also all my RED GIANT OFX plugins are unable to load when I get fusion studio up and running. I get a box that’s says “ The following OFX plugins failed to load 121 of them. Blackmagic can something be done about this? All these plugins work for me in Davinci resolve.
